Do MOB's get a gift for the bride for the bridal shower?
My mother is from Japan and doesn't understand this tradition. She asked for my advice and ofcourse I'm clueless. I am her only child and we both have never attended a bridal shower. The Bridal Party asked that she chip in and buy the champagne. Is it still traditional for the MOB to give a gift? We are both clueless.... She is more than willing if this is tradition.
Typically, yes, she should buy you something just to be polite and try to help you out.
